In this field based role you will be contributing to Sales and providing Clinical Facilitation to customers to ensure they are competent and confident to use the Facial Aesthetics range of products including market leading anti-wrinkle injectables and dermal fillers through the delivery of agreed execution measures. You will work closely with Territory Business Managers across customer territories in Sydney and NSW country areas supporting effective B2B, B2C business partnerships with customers. You will report to the Regional Manager, Clinical Specialists NSW/QLD and can expect a high level of regular domestic travel with this role.
In Addition You Will
Drive sales and account growth in conjunction with your Territory Business Manager through effective account planning.
Effectively articulate product specific selling messages and differentiation versus the competitors.
Deliver clinical facilitation, as developed by the Allergan Advisory Board and the ANZ clinical team, to customers and Territory Business Managers at conferences, clinical workshops and training meetings
Work with the Regional Manager to determine clinical needs and provide facilitation to customers
Formulate clinical development plans for your top 30 accounts and review with the Regional Sales Managers and Medical Education Manager
Work with Territory Business Managers during in house training events to develop their expertise in how to coach customers in patient consultation skills
Set up Allergan clinical training events, model selection, trainers, presentation, facilitation and work with the Regional Manager, Clinical Specialists and Medical Education Manager.
You will be passionate about your products and strive to build your therapeutic knowledge through maintaining an in-depth understanding of relevant human anatomy, the best utilisation of our products, understanding competitor product ranges and be able to communicate Allergan’s science and customer focus differential to customers.
What are we looking for?
Successful completion of tertiary qualifications in science or healthcare related degree – a nursing background will be highly regarded.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience is required in a field sales or clinical sales specialist role within the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry.

Ability to guide a group to acquire skills, make decisions or complete tasks by facilitating group communication, using interpersonal skills and influence strategies to build relationships.
Provide expert advice to colleagues within the organization based on knowledge gained from professional experience or training.
Formulate clinical development plans and work with the Regional Sales Managers and Medical Education Managers to determine clinical needs and provide facilitation to customers.
Work co-operatively with others to accomplish group goals through communicating clearly, sharing information, involving team members in decisions and demonstrating commitment to the team.
Ensure you keep up with developments in your area of expertise, particularly facial anatomy.
Ability to seek out diverse learning opportunities and perspectives; quickly apply new knowledge and skills; confident to use work challenges as opportunities to try new learning and innovative solutions.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Ability to travel – approximately 80% of time will be spent in the field face to face and up to 50% will include regional or interstate travel, depending upon your territory.
Candidates must be currently living in Australia with appropriate residency visa and work rights.
