Primary Responsibilities:
Market Access Strategy Support:
The Manager provides strategic support to the Director and other Project Teams on client projects, ensuring deliverables meet & exceed client needs/expectations
Supports and leads selected research and components of client Market Access Assessments; inputs into Budget Impact Models & reports; contributes to strategic reviews of Clinical Summaries, PE Reports and other components of reimbursement dossiers
She/he will also lead assigned Client Project Components that reflect the core competencies required for this role: Understanding of and ability to contribute to budget impact models in submissions and reimbursement negotiations; Knowledge of private and public payer markets, their drug review processes and reimbursement trends affecting market access; Proficiency in health and drug policy research, issues management, and data analyses; Experience in Advisory Board development and management
Marketing/Policy Leadership:
The Manager develops and implements marketing strategies and promotes the expertise of our company.
In this role, the Manager will: Ensure PDCI is at the forefront of public policy matters affecting pharmaceutical industry clients; Develops and implements the strategic direction and publication of the PDCI Target Pharma Newsletter ; In collaboration with cross-functional teams, develops and executes the PDCI social marketing plan, “White Papers”, policy research plan, and publication of research initiatives; Execute other tactics to present PDCI consultants as thought leaders and strategic partners to pharmaceutical industry clients
Business Development Support:
The Manager will also initiate, develop & nurture client relationships through consistently providing sound, trust-worthy information & advice and producing quality deliverables helping them to make business decisions
Support the development of capabilities presentations, new client leads, building relationships with stakeholders
The role requires pro-active engagement and foresight of when and how to communicate issues of interest to potential clients
Qualifications/Experience
Academic qualifications
Post-Secondary degree (Bachelor’s, sciences, economics, research/writing), Additional degrees/certifications an asset (e.g. Master’s in sciences, economics, public/business administration, certifications in project management, administration, related software programs)
Skills, attributes
Quality and efficiency: excellent organizational skills with a superior attention to detail
Multi-tasker: ability to balance multiple priorities, projects and deadlines
Excellent knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently on focus well-defined projects
Ability to research and problem solve
Strong administrative skills & data entry working experience.
Experience
Basic understanding of all market access project components, including experience working on each component
Intermediate understanding of market access organizations, processes, concepts, strategies
e.g. 3-5 years in related pharma market access work experience and consulting/business experience
