Summary Of Tasks
Lead the development and maintenance of PSP activities, as applicable (clinical call centers, patient reimbursement navigation, financial assistance, education, clinical networks development and field activities);
Accountable and responsible for Patient Support Program overall budget and applicable Patient Oriented Program (POP) activities;
Ensure the conduct of applicable POPs is done according to the local, global and Canadian Provincial & Federal guidelines or procedures;
Provide effective management of PSP suppliers so that each individual at all levels is motivated to achieve objectives on an individual and team level and conduct individualized performance evaluation based on observation, feedback from peers, as-assessment, and mentoring;
Ensure effective communication across all teams
In collaboration with the members of the Sandoz Commercial Teams, will contribute to the development of the short- and long-term goals of the department through cross-functional collaborations and planning;
Interface with Medical Affairs and Marketing/Market Access to ensure strategic and tactical alignment according to plans;
Identify innovative solutions for the optimal and safe use of Sandoz products.
Associate shall be accountable to perform all duties listed in Role Profile in accord-ance with applicable GxP principles, and internal/external regulations (e.g. Novartis Code of Conduct, Novartis Pharma Principles and Practices for Professionals (P3), IMC Code of Ethical Practices, Health Canada and all other relevant regulations).
University degree in health science or business administration preferably;
Seven (7) to ten (10) years of extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry; in customer-facing roles and with head-office experience (e.g. Marketing, Market Access);
Previous experience in patient support program management is a strong asset;
Experience with generics (Gx) & biologic therapeutic agents is a strong asset;
Ability to come up with new solutions or ideas to highly complex problems, think out of the box, assess both long-term and short-term implications of strategies and operational plans;
Ability to develop and deliver on an operational plan;
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders;
Excellent understanding of budget/resources planning, allocation and management process.
